General procedure of application
The procedure of work depends on the required document: a specialist's opinion or an expert's opinion for a court order. This section does not replace the terms of a contract, public offer, or procedural document appointing a forensic examination, but helps to understand the sequence of actions.
Logic of work
First, the purpose of the application and the competence of the commodity specialist are determined. Then the questions, documents, format of the result, deadline, and cost are agreed upon. After that, an inspection is conducted, signs are recorded, and a written document is prepared.
If a specialist's opinion is needed
- submission of the request;
- description of the situation;
- provision of photos and documents;
- preliminary assessment of the possibility of research;
- agreement on questions;
- agreement on deadline and cost;
- issuing an invoice or sending a payment link;
- making an advance payment;
- handing over the object for inspection if necessary;
- conducting the inspection and examination;
- preparing the specialist's conclusion;
- delivering the conclusion to the client.
Work on preparing the specialist's conclusion begins after agreeing on the questions, deadline, cost, and making the advance payment, unless another procedure is agreed upon by the parties.
If a court examination is appointed
- the examination is appointed by the court or another authorized body;
- the basis is a court ruling or an order for the appointment of the examination;
- the court or other body determines the questions, materials, deadline, payment procedure, and the person to whom the examination is assigned;
- the expert informs about the possibility of conducting the examination, the deadline, and the cost;
- payment is made in the manner established by the court or other body;
- The expert receives materials and objects sent for examination;
- The examination is conducted within the scope of the assigned questions;
- The expert's conclusion is prepared;
- The conclusion is sent to the court or the authority that appointed the examination;
- If necessary, the expert provides explanations regarding the conclusion.
What affects the term
The term depends on the number of objects, volume of documents, complexity of questions, need for inspection, travel, laboratory studies, involvement of specialists in other fields of knowledge, and completeness of the provided materials.
Send documents for preliminary assessment
Describe the situation and attach photos, documents, or archive. After reviewing the materials, an expert will inform you about the possibility of research, timelines, and the procedure for further work.
