What is an informational letter for
An informational letter can be prepared at the request of the court, a judge, an assistant to the judge, a party to the case, or a representative. It contains information that helps to consider the candidacy of an expert and to determine the organizational conditions for the possible conduct of a forensic examination of goods.
The letter can be attached to the petition for the appointment of an examination or submitted to the court at its request. The informational letter itself is not an expert opinion and does not contain conclusions on the merits of the dispute.
